Peracide was created in 2012 by Sky Chemicals in a response to a growing concern over C. diff spores, E. coli, MRSA, and other resistant microbes present in healthcare environments. Sky chemicals made it their mission to find a solution, and created Peracide, the most effective disinfectant on the market due to its efficacy against these resistant microbes in both clean and soiled conditions. Over 70 BS EN microbiological tests and ward trials conducted at UCLH demonstrate and verify this.

Our in-house R&D teams work closely with our partners Sheffield Hallam University and the UCLH microbiology department, regularly innovating new products and ideas to provide our clients with the very best products.

Peracide comes in two different tablet sizes; 3g and 6g. The 3g tablets are for use in drizzle or spray bottles, while the 6g tablets are used for mop buckets and vaporisers, and will not fit in the 500 ml bottles we provide. To prepare a drizzle or spray bottle of Peracide, fill the bottle to the fill line and add two 3g tablets.
